I am a mother of two, a singer and an artist. Creativity is a huge part of my life and it's lovely to have a space here where I can share all the bits and pieces of my creative life.
My name 'Ayozie' means 'to return well', there have been many returnings for me. A return to creativity, (I trained as a lawyer but promptly returned back to my first loves of singing and art), a return to health (I have struggled on and off with periods of illness due to a degenerative kidney disease), and a return to faith.
My name in its essence also means 'to stand out in a crowd'. It takes courage and vulnerability to do that. So here I am, practising courage, and standing.
